How to play
Choose white or black, leave Against machine checked for a computer opponent, and select New game. Uncheck Against machine to control both sides on the same board. Use 2D view if the 3D board makes piece selection difficult. The machine think-time field requires Enter to save a change; higher values can slow the game.

- Use the move-history controls to review a completed sequence and identify the first unprotected piece.

About Chess
This HTML Chess build provides an Against machine checkbox, a player-color selector, promotion choices, and a machine think-time setting. Its toolbar switches between 2D, 3D, or both views and navigates the move history. These are tools for playing and reviewing a match; there is no separate guided tactics course.

How do I play without the computer?
Uncheck Against machine and start a new game. Both sides can then be controlled on the same board; this is not an online multiplayer lobby.
Why is the computer taking a long time?
The machine think-time setting increases its search work. Use the default setting on slower devices and press Enter to save changes.
